Every six months is the standard recommendation for most children. Some children with a higher risk of cavities may benefit from more frequent visits. Dr. Enas will advise you on what is right for your child after the first assessment.

Silver Diamine Fluoride (SDF) is a liquid applied to decayed areas of a tooth to stop the decay from progressing. It is quick, painless, and requires no drilling. It is safe and has been used in dentistry for decades. The main consideration is that it turns the treated area dark, which is something we always discuss with parents beforehand.
Dental anxiety in children is very common, and it is something Dr. Enas works with every day. She uses a calm, child-centred approach with simple language and no surprises. For children who need extra support, we offer dental sedation options including nitrous oxide (happy gas) and IV sedation where appropriate. We will always discuss the best approach with you first.
